Special Drive on Government Vehicles!


The Hyderabad Traffic Police has been conducting a Special Drive on Government vehicles from 19-08-2011. Following are the violation wise cases booked on vehicles belonging to Government Departments in the city  till 25-08-2011 upto 4.00 pm. :

            Meanwhile, the Special drive against the Police Department vehicles is also continued which was launched on 11-08-2011.    Following are the violation wise cases:

            Total fine amount collected in above cases either from police drivers or police officers is Rs. 3,53,300/-.
            As can be seen from the above figures Improper Number plate and Wrong parking are major violations by the Government vehicles.

  1. Fine value should be double or triple for Government or Police Department Vehicles, as they should be role module for Citizens, by this Government can prove that Rule makers are not Rule Breakers and all are equal

  2. Congrats for the efforts. Its not abt the fine money but the effort taken boldly to fine such violations. The Addl Commr is the best. Next effort should be on drunken drivers. The best spot to catch them would be when they exit out of the elite clubs and bars. U will get them redhanded.
