Is it Mandatory to Wear Helmet?

Yes it is mandatory for two wheeler riders. Everyone should take care of their lives and their family members. 10 accidents are taking place in the city out everyday of which two wheelers are involved in 5 of them. Every month there are more than 30 deaths, It is imaginable how dangerous it is. Most of the victims are under the age group of 25.

With regards to enforcement of helmet rule every time we enforce the rule, media and public have taken the enforcement in a negative way and have targeted the cops . At all these occasions, State Govt has taken decision to stop the enforcement. Allover India it has been implemented successfully from years since 1988 when MV Act 1988 was passed, but Hyderabad City is lagging behind them. Every commuter has to realize it and take responsibility of their own life and the risk associated with driving a two wheeler. If the State Govt takes a decision to implement it and announce it we will enforce the helmet rule . Till than two wheeler riders should understand that wearing helmet is for there own safety.
